Free safety advisories for the people who live and work along the line.
River, heat and sea-state outlooks and official alerts for border districts and fishing harbours, built from public data and published free. No account, no cookies, no tracking. Every advisory names its source and its time.
Four questions, answered from public data.
River status for border points in Assam, Tripura, West Bengal and Punjab against each point's own history, with what to do before and during a flood.
A seven-day outlook of heat stress (WBGT) for border towns, with work, rest and water guidance, the coolest hours of the day, and cold stress for high passes.
Sea state for fishing harbours in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and West Bengal, and a boundary-distance check that runs on your phone. For awareness only, not for navigation.
Warnings from IMD, CWC and state disaster authorities for border and coastal districts, shown exactly as NDMA SACHET publishes them. We relay these alerts; we do not issue them.
Status lines are read from each product's latest published data when this page loads, with times in IST. Whether an official alert is still in force is checked against this device's clock.
Keep these advisories with you, even without signal. Saathi is a free companion you can add to your phone's home screen. Choose your place once, and its heat, river, sea and official alerts stay readable offline. Your place is stored on the phone and never sent anywhere.
Four levels, the same words everywhere.
Usual conditions for the place and season. Take ordinary care.
Conditions are building. Check again later and plan ahead.
Conditions can hurt people. Change plans; follow official warnings.
Conditions are dangerous. Do not go out or cross; move to safety if told.
Our levels compare forecasts with each place's own history and with published thresholds. They are not the official danger levels of the Central Water Commission or warnings of the India Meteorological Department. Where the two differ, follow the official one. Official alerts keep the issuing agency's own words and severity.
Follow the official agencies first.
