Long, 109 words

Trinetra (त्रिनेत्र, "the third eye") builds situational-awareness and safety software for India's rivers, land borders, coasts and low airspace. Its products help the people who work there see conditions early, respond safely, and account for every action. The suite covers floods and heat, glacial lakes and landslides, fishers at sea, sensor fusion, low-airspace awareness, response planning and oversight. Every product follows a published doctrine: it analyses events and places, never profiles of people; it shows a source and a time for every number; and it runs on the customer's own hardware on Indian soil. Free public versions publish flood, heat and sea advisories and an index of frontier enforcement.

Writing about us
  • Write product names with one capital letter: Varuna, not VARUNA. Each is a Sanskrit word; the meanings are listed here.
  • We build safety and situational-awareness software. Please do not call it surveillance of communities, because it is not built for that and our doctrine forbids it.
  • Our numbers come with sources. If you cite one, cite the original source we link to.
  • We are glad to explain our methods, data and doctrine. We do not discuss customers' operations or name customers without their consent.

Colours

Nīla, the indigo of Indian dye vats, is the only brand colour. Status colours appear only where a level is being reported, always with the word.

  • Nīla on black#809EFF
  • Ink on black#F4F5F7
  • White#FFFFFF
  • Nīla on white#3340AB
  • Ink on white#151821
  • Normal#6BD586

Status colours are shown for black, our default. On white they darken to keep contrast: normal #21763C, watch #8E5900, warning #AE4900, danger #C22826. Values are the sRGB equivalents of the OKLCH tokens in our design system.

Type

Anek Latin for every word in English, with Anek Devanagari, Anek Bangla, Anek Tamil and Anek Gujarati for Hindi, Bengali and Assamese, Tamil and Gujarati, so every script reads as one family: त्रिनेत्र. All are free under the SIL Open Font License. Code samples use the reader's system monospace.

  • Do not recolour, stretch, outline or add effects to the mark.
